Champ Darabundit is a Music Technology PhD candidate at McGill University working in the Computational Acoustic Modeling Laboratory (CAML). His research interests include physics-based synthesis of woodwind instruments, audio signal processing, virtual analog, and audio machine learning.

He earned a Master's from the Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA) at Stanford University in 2022. In 2020, he earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a B.A. in Art and Design from the University of Southern California. His personal hobbies include watching independent films, cooking Thai food, baking naturally leavened bread, and Olympic weightlifting.
